Iron ore prices to decline through 2029: report
Rising supply and easing demand are likely to lower iron ore prices over the next five years, Kallanish notes from an Australian government report.
The country's Department of Industry, Science and Resources says from an estimated average price of around $105/tonne (fob) in 2023, the benchmark iron ore price is projected to steadily fall to an average of about $68/t in real terms by 2029.
