Reduced exports hit Indian mill sales
Indian steelmakers posted mixed results in the September quarter, although revenue was impacted by reduced exports and lower steel prices globally, Kallanish notes.
Tata Steel reported a 2% on-year decline in Indian operation sales to 4.82 million tonnes, although production rose 5% to 5.02mt.
