Rebar prices fall in Kuwait, Oman stable
In Kuwait, the local mill has lowered its December-delivery 8-40mm diameter rebar price by KD 2 on November quotes to KD 188/tonne ($613) ex-mill, on a cash payment basis.
A re-roller in United Arab Emirates is heard offering rebar at AED 2,180/t ($594) delivered to Kuwait on a letter-of-credit at-sight basis. In the retail segment, rebar is being transacted at KD 190-192/t delivered on cash payment, Kallanish learns.
