Peru’s April iron ore output falls on-month
Peruvian iron ore production fell on-month in April but remained higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1.13 million tonnes in April. This was down 11.6% over March but 2.9% higher compared to 1.1mt in the corresponding month of 2022.
