Northern European wire rod prices climb slowly
Northern European wire rod prices have started to increase slightly this week thanks to continued strong demand, say market participants. Sources expect this trend to continue in the coming weeks.
“Market participants expected the increases, but for now this is happening slowly,” a buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish. “I think wire rod purchases can rise if mills increase production.”
