NMDC's quarterly production, earnings increase
NMDC iron ore production surged 20% on-year to 10.7 million tonnes in the June quarter, compared to 8.92mt produced a year ago. Deliveries also grew 41% to 10.97mt during the period, NMDC informs in a note seen by Kallanish.
In the fiscal year through 31 March 2023 (FY23), the miner’s production and sales dropped 3% and 6%, respectively, to 40.82mt and 38.22mt, it says providing revised data.
