NMDC’s August production, deliveries tick up
NMDC’s iron ore output increased 38% on-year to 3.41 million tonnes in August against 2.48mt produced a year earlier. Production also increased 40% on-month versus 2.44mt in July.
“These are our best-ever August results, a testament to our relentless pursuit of 50 million tonnes production this fiscal,” says NMDC and NSL chairman and managing director (additional charge) Amitava Mukherjee.
