MRL, Hancock welcome Port Headland expansion approval
Mineral Resources (MRL) and Hancock Prospecting have welcomed the Western Australia state government’s decision to increase iron ore export capacity at Port Hedland and to provide a new capacity allocation at Stanley Point berth 3 (SP3). Subject to approvals being granted in mid-2022, the new capacity would be allocated to the recently announced joint venture between the firms.
