Mount Gibson achieves record quarterly iron ore sales
Australian iron ore producer Mount Gibson Iron has made a strong start to the new financial year with a record sales quarter from Koolan Island, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that it has achieved record quarterly high grade iron ore sales of 1.3 million wet metric tonnes (wmt) from Koolan Island at an average shipped ore grade of 65.5% Fe, for ore sales revenue of AUD 208 million ($133m) on an fob basis.
