MMK reaches record level of online sales
Russian steelmaker MMK sold in 2023 around 80,000 tonnes of steel with a total value of RUB 6 billion ($65 million) through its online corporate marketplace.
Sales volumes increased 2.7 times compared to the previous year, when sales amounted to 30,000t, the company tells Kallanish. In total, since the opening of the electronic trading platform in April 2021, about 112,000t of steel products have been sold through this medium.
