Mexico rebar, wire rod production rises in January
Mexico saw rebar and wire rod output both increase month-on-month in January. It was however down on-year, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 288,291 tonnes of rebar in January, up 61.9% over December and 104,490t higher year-on-year. Production was valued at MXN 4.13 billion ($247.3 million).
