Mexico’s June automotive production slips, exports remain strong
Mexico’s automotive sector saw production fall sequentially in June, Kallanish notes. The industry’s exports and domestic sales, however, remained strong.
According to Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), June production decreased by 3.6% month-on-month to 331,707 units but was 16.3% higher year-on-year.
