Mexico’s automotive production jumps in August
Mexico saw automotive sector performance grow sequentially in August, Kallanish notes. The industry’s production, exports and domestic sales also were higher year-on-year.
According to Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), August production increased by 10.6% month-on-month to 325,676 units and was 2.8% stronger on-year.
