Mexico’s automotive activity slips on-month in July
Mexico saw automotive sector performance fall sequentially in July, Kallanish notes. The industry’s production, exports and domestic sales, however, remained strong on-year.
According to Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), July production decreased by 11.3% month-on-month to 294,350 units but was 13.2% higher year-on-year.
