Masteel produces large-diameter heat resistant blooms
China listed Maanshan Iron and Steel (Masteel) has produced high-chromium P91 grade steel in 1,000mm diameter continuously cast blooms using Danieli's 18.5-metre radius jumbo round caster. This steelmaker manufactured P92 grade steel with large diameter round billet on this caster last December.
