Kuwait domestic rebar prices unlikely to change
Kuwaiti mills are yet to announce their rebar prices for March delivery. Driven by falling international scrap prices and sour sentiment in China, the market expects local mills to hold their quotes for March.
The Emirati benchmark mill’s quotes have disappeared from the Kuwait market, losing market share to Oman suppliers. Due to increased UAE domestic demand, sales and prices, it is reluctant to allocate quantities to Kuwait, notes Kallanish.
