Kardemir reduces domestic longs, billet prices further
Kardemir has reduced prices of rebar, wire rod and billet for the domestic market in its new price list published on 2 August, Kallanish notes.
Compared to the firm’s previous price list issued on 26 July, rebar has been lowered by TRY 815/tonne ($45) to TRY 10,955/t ($610) for 12-32mm diameter and TRY 11,045/t for 36-40mm dia.
5.5-56mm dia wire rod prices have been slashed by $55/t to $620-685/t.
150mm square billet has meanwhile been cut by $60/t to $570…
