JSW sees record annual crude steel production
JSW Steel’s standalone crude steel production surged 25% on-year to 23.62 million tonnes in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2023 (FY23), against 18.96mt produced a year earlier. JSW joint control entity JSW Ispat Special Product (JISPL)’s crude steel production, however, plunged 29.31% on-year to 0.42mt, Kallanish notes.
JSW Steel USA – Ohio’s production also dropped 3.63% to 0.53mt during the period.
