Italian scrap approaches €300
The Italian scrap market is going through a quiet time. Mills are reducing their scrap deliveries or suspending procurement due to production cuts. This is slowing the entire value chain, with mills also postponing offtake of already-contracted tonnages, Kallanish learns.
