Italian rebar remains flat amid Feralpi IPO rumours
Italian rebar prices remain flat on-week, with demand subdued and some mills implementing stoppages during the Easter holiday, Kallanish notes.
A large local distributor of long products says: “This month we are buying nothing. Prices are still too high and, with clients buying only back-to-back, we think we will implement very few orders of some flat products this month, but no rebar or other longs.”
