Italian plate demand slows
Italian plate prices are beginning to decline in some contracts following weeks of quiet and weak orders. Large buyers are absent from the market and sales are being implemented only for small tonnages, sources tell Kallanish.
Two mill sources reported good activity in January and the first days of February but distribution sources say they are struggling to fill order books and there is no apparent demand.
