Italian steel output falls on-year, but rises sequentially
Italian crude steel output fell again significantly in October after a series of declines seen since the beginning of the year, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month, crude steel production fell by 9.3% year-on-year to 2 million tonnes, and by 10.8% on-year over the first ten months of 2022 to 18.4mt, Kallanish notes.
