Iron ore steadies in calmer market

Seaborne iron ore prices were fairly steady on Tuesday. Markets have been digesting the weak economic data released Monday, but still hope that stimulus can mean a stronger second half-year. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index slipped $0.41/t to $131.55/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao.
