Indian scrap imports end week on bearish note

The last week of February witnessed fluctuations in imported ferrous scrap prices in the Indian market, with values ultimately closing with a slump, notes Kallanish. While imported offers experienced a slight rise in the first half of the week, prices declined towards the end of the period. EU-origin shredded scrap prices declined by $5-10/tonne on a week, ranging from $410-415/t cfr India. Buyers bid lower at $395-400/t, limiting trading activities for the week.…
