Indian imported scrap gains on local scrap scarcity
Owing to limited supply of local scrap in India, mills have increased procurement of imported scrap this week, which led to a marginal rise in quotes. However, demand for semi-finished and finished steel is reported low and not used as justification for the scrap price hikes, various sources tell Kallanish.
