Indian domestic billet falls, producers receive export enquiries
Offers for billet in the Indian domestic market have taken a direct hit this week, mainly due to falling demand for rebar and sluggish global scrap market sentiment.
This week, a couple of sources have reported receiving enquiries for billet exports for the East African market, but due to the offer-bid gap, no deals were concluded.
