Hoa Phat's HRC production hits 9mt milestone
Vietnamese leading steelmaker Hoa Phat Group saw its hot-rolled coil (HRC) production officially reach the 9 million tonnes milestone on 20 March 2024, Kallanish notes.
After reporting a record HRC production of 8mt at the end of October last year, Hoa Phat took about five months to increase production by another 1mt. This is less than four years after the first HRC was produced by Hoa Phat in May 2020.
