Hadeed sets rebar price ceiling in Saudi Arabia
Saudi mills have announced their August-rolling rebar prices following Hadeed's rebar price announcement made last Wednesday.
After a SAR 100/tonne ($26.6) reduction on July quotes, Hadeed's new, August-delivery rebar prices have set a ceiling for the Saudi market. They are at SAR 2,750/t ($733) for 12-14mm diameter rebar and at SAR 2,700/t ($720) for 16-32mm rebar, both delivered within the country, notes Kallanish.
