FMG confirms incident at Christmas Creek mine
Australian mining company Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has confirmed to Kallanish that it has suffered an incident at its Christmas Creek mine.
According to information provided by Fortescue, there was an incident involving an excavator at FMG's Christmas Creek mine site on 22 October 2023. "Fortunately, no one was injured. The incident has been reported to the appropriate regulator," the miner said.
