ESCO's billet tender closes at higher bids
Iran's sole blast furnace steelmaker, Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO), has announced that its 30,000 tonne October-readiness billet tender has closed at $475/t fob. This has encouraged steelmakers as it represents a $10/t increase on Khorasan Steel's billet tender finalised last week for 30,000t for early-October readiness, notes Kallanish.
