Danieli Corus upgrades Gerdau’s Ouro Branco blast furnace
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau has awarded Danieli Corus a contract to revamp blast furnace No.1 at its Ouro Branco steel mill in Brazil, Kallanish learns from the technology supplier.
The Italian company will supply a new furnace hearth, tuyere ring and bosh area, and casthouse runners cooling system.
