Chinese major steelmakers maintain February flats offers
Three major Chinese flat steel manufacturers, Baosteel, Anshan Iron & Steel (Angang) and Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang) have decided to maintain their flat steel offers for February this year, Kallanish notes.
The stable prices are for almost all products, including hot/cold rolled coil, thick plate, pickled, galvanized and coated steel. The exceptions are the CNY 100/tonne ($14/t) price increase for Baosteel’s medium and low grade non-oriented silicon…
