China's scrap prices increase on mill output resumptions

China's scrap consumption has risen again as steel mills resume production, pushing up scrap prices. On Friday, Kallanish assessed Chinese 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 3,810/tonne ($592/t), including VAT.
