Canada’s rig count continues to fall, US’ climbs
The North American oil and gas rig count continued to move down last week as Canada’s count dropped notably for the third consecutive week, according to the latest data from energy services firm Baker Hughes reviewed by Kallanish.
Canada’s count declined by 16 net rigs last week, as 12 oil rigs and four gas rigs were removed from operation. The country’s count now stands at 124 active rigs, which is 55 more than were operating at this time last y…
