Brazil’s steel bar exports remain weak in May
Brazilian bar exports fell month-on-month in May and were also down year-on-year, Kallanish learns from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade's (Mdic) latest report. Meanwhile, imports remained weak.
The data include iron and steel bars, along with angles, profiles and sections.
Brazilian bar exports totalled 78,900 tonnes in the month, down 5,900t compared to April and 29.4% less versus the same month last year.
