Brazil’s semis exports gain in March, imports reduce
Brazilian exports of semi-finished products rose month-on-month but were weaker on-year in March. Imports, meanwhile, began to decline, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, the country’s semis shipments abroad totalled 654,000 tonnes in March, a growth of 151,000t from February but 16% lower compared to the same month last year.
