Beshay leads domestic rebar price increase in Egypt
Beshay Steel has led the way with Egypt's first domestic market rebar price increase of the new year. Some other Egyptian mills have followed suit, Kallanish learns.
On Monday, Beshay Steel set its new, 14% VAT included, ex-works domestic rebar price at EGP 27,360/tonne ($828), followed on Tuesday by Ezz Steel at EGP 25,985/t ($794) and Suez Steel and Egyptian Steel each at EGP 25,850/t ($789).
