Baosteel's finished steel exports boosted
Major Chinese steelmaker, Baosteel, expects to have signed more than 5 million tonnes of finished steel contracts abroad in 2023 by digging existing markets and expanding new ones.
Its hot rolled coil exports from January to October already exceed the whole volume of 2022, Kallanish notes. China's finished steel exports from January to October are 74.73mt, including 49.05mt of steel plate.
