Bangladesh buyers hold off on scrap purchases

The imported ferrous scrap market in Bangladesh has been slow lately due to a mismatch between bids and offers, notes Kallanish. Offers for Brazil-origin HMS (80:20) scrap are at around $406-408/tonne cfr Bangladesh, down by $5/t on week, while bids are lower, at $400/t.
