ArcelorMittal evaluates building H2 plant in Brazil
ArcelorMittal is advancing towards the use of hydrogen in its production chain in Brazil, Kallanish notes. The steelmaker has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with local energy company EDP to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of the building of an H2 plant. The initiative is part of ArcelorMittal Tubarão's efforts to boost the production of low-carbon-emissions steel.
