UK second-hand BEV sales surge 82% to record level
Second-hand sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) surged by 81.8% in the second quarter of the year in the UK to a record market share, Kallanish learns from SMMT.
According to data released by the automotive trade body on Wednesday, sales of BEVs reached 30,645 units in the April-June period. The volume represents a market share of 1.7%, up from 1% last year.
