NICKEL, COBALT: Turkey’s Lineer Metal’s new zinc plant to produce battery materials
Turkey’s Lineer Metal has decided to establish a zinc metal production facility with an initial capacity of 30,000 tonnes/year in Siirt Organized Industrial Zone. By-products from the facility will be pushed to the battery materials sector, Kallanish understands.
The integrated facility, which will be established by a Turkish-Qatar partnership, will ultimately produce 90,000 t of zinc.
