StoreDot says its XFC degradation on par with slow charging cells
Israeli battery technology start-up StoreDot said Tuesday its extreme fast charging (XFC) battery cells have shown no additional degradation when compared to slow charging tests, Kallanish reports.
The company, which claims to be a pioneer in XFC tech for EVs, has put its cells through an extended set of charging profile tests. It says the silicon-dominant cells successfully passed the tests even after 1000 consecutive XFC cycles.
