Swedish all-electric carmaker Polestar said Tuesday it could start using StoreDot’s silicon-dominant lithium-ion batteries in its cars by 2026, Kallanish reports.
The company has just invested an undisclosed amount in the Israeli battery technology start-up, joining peers such as Volvo, Daimler and VinFast. Other strategic partners include bp, Ola Electric, Samsung, TDK and EVE Energy.
