StoreDot ‘on track’ to produce XFC cells at scale in 2024
Israeli battery technology start-up StoreDot said Wednesday it’s on track to deliver extreme fast charging (XFC) battery production at scale in 2024, as part of its roadmap to mass production by 2032.
The company is promising fast-charging battery cells that offer 100 miles of range with five minutes of charging in 2024. By 2028, charging time would be reduced to three minutes and then two minutes by 2032, Kallanish reports.
