Sigma Lithium FIDs expansion in Brazilian lithium project
Vancouver-headquartered Sigma Lithium has announced plans to double lithium production at its Greentech lithium plant in Brazil, Kallanish reports.
The company has concluded a final investment decision (FID) to initiate the construction of a second production line at the Grota do Cirilo project in Minas Gerais. With this, the lithium output is expected to increase to 520,000 tonnes/year by 2025 from the current output of 270,000 t/y.
