Plus Power raises $1.8 billion for energy storage
Battery energy storage system (BESS) developer Plus Power has raised $1.8 billion in new financing to further its energy storage efforts in Arizona and Texas.
The funding will support the construction and operation of five BESS projects with a combined capacity of 2.76 gigawatt-hours. Kallanish learns financing commitments were provided in the form of letters of credit, as well as construction, term and tax equity financings.
