Plug Power, MOL Group sign agreement for Hungary green hydrogen project
The MOL Group and Plug Power say they are teaming up to build one of Europe’s largest green hydrogen production facilities in Hungary to reduce carbon emissions, Kallanish reports.
Under the new agreement, New York-based Plug Power is providing a 10-megawatt electrolysis unit that will enable the MOL Group to generate 1,600 tonnes/year of green hydrogen at its Danube Refinery in Szazhalombatta, Hungary.
