Plug Power, Acciona form JV to create hydrogen platform in Spain, Portugal
New York-based Plug Power and Spanish renewable energy producer Acciona are starting a joint venture to develop and operate green hydrogen projects in Spain and Portugal, Kallanish reports.
The companies say they plan to initially invest $2.42 billion in the 50-50 venture that will based in Madrid, Spain, and will provide green hydrogen including storage, transportation and delivery services to multiple end markets.
