MSC pushes forward hydrogen cruise ships order
The project to build two hydrogen vessels, previously mulled by Italy’s MSC group, is now translating into a firm order. MSC has reached the final decision to confirm an order for the two hydrogen propulsion cruise ships to shipbuilder Fincantieri.
This comes in addition to the Explora Journeys travel brand fleet for which MSC is investing €3.5 billion ($3.7 billion) for a total of six luxury ships, Kallanish notes.
